This well established, 11 tree Florida Red Maple forest captures the character of a mature woodland in miniature. Trees of varying heights, trunk thicknesses, and sizes create a natural sense of depth and perspective, giving the composition the realism of a small grove.
Visible surface roots, or nebari, anchor the trees and add to their established appearance. Beautiful moss and small companion plants growing across the soil surface bring texture and character to the forest floor, creating an aged, show ready presentation.
The foliage has developed a reduced scale through the trees’ maturity and continued establishment in the pot, complementing the proportions of the planting. Presented in an oval pot, this composition offers the presence and cohesion that take years to develop. Well established forests of this kind are uncommon to find available.
