Tiger Bark Ficus

This beautiful Shohin Tiger Bark Ficus bonsai is estimated to be over 10 years old and showcases impressive trunk movement, natural character, and the distinctive textured bark for which this variety is highly prized.
Despite its compact size, this one of a kind tree displays the presence and character of a much larger tree. Its gracefully curved trunk supports a well-balanced canopy of vibrant green foliage, with lighter green new growth adding contrast and freshness.

The tree has been carefully structured and wired, with primary, secondary, and tertiary branching established for continued refinement and canopy development. Its naturally vigorous growth, small foliage, and excellent response to pruning make Tiger Bark Ficus a highly desirable species for bonsai cultivation.

Complementing the tree is a beautiful oval glazed ceramic pot featuring a traditional Asian landscape design. The delicate artwork and elegant shape of the pot enhance the overall presentation of this charming specimen.
As a tropical species, Tiger Bark Ficus thrives in warm climates but can also be successfully grown in colder states with proper care. During colder months, protection from freezing temperatures and a suitable indoor environment with adequate grow lighting allow collectors to enjoy this species year-round.

With its attractive trunk movement, established branch structure, vibrant foliage, and decorative ceramic pot, this Shohin Tiger Bark Ficus is an excellent addition to any tropical bonsai collection.
